Dr. Tammy Watkins
Dr. Tammy has had a passion for caring for pregnant mothers and babies since her time in chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. She has taken an additional 200-hours+ of prenatal/pediatric specific trainings from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association spanning 19 different course topics. Since beginning practice in 2005, she has continued her specialty education classes, as well as studying breastfeeding and nutritional support to help advance the well-being of mothers and their families.
Her passion is to serve pregnant women and equip and empower them with the most genuine, holistic and complete care. It has also been her honor and privilege to attend over 125 births as a labor support coach (doula) in the Des Moines and surrounding areas.
As a mother of four children, she has encountered many of the same struggles and challenges mothers today face and can offer a personal understanding and variable solutions for a variety of situations. Dr. Tammy and her husband Zac enjoy spending time with family, outdoors or watching the Huskers play.
